Masha Sorin first found massage therapy in 2006 after graduating from the University of Toledo, OH with a BA I Arts and Sciences. She had first begun practicing yoga, starting first with Ashtanga, Bikram and Power Yoga. She received her teacher training in 2006 through YogaFit as well several continuous education credits from Anusara Yoga Schools. She then went on to obtain additional credentials which incude KidYoga, Zumba, Turbokick, Pilates, as well as teaching classes like Bootcamp and “On the Ball Sculpt, and HIIT classes. She is on the board of YTNWO (Yoga Teachers of Northwest Ohio) and participated as a yoga instructor at two of Ohio state’s National Yoga Days. It was from the yoga and the health and wellness community was where she discovered bodywork.

In 2009, Masha packed up her car and set out to California. She met many more like-minded people with similar goals, and was always drawn to holistic healthcare. In 2011 she had the amazing opportunity to live in Costa Rica and teach yoga at Bamboo YogaPlay; a yoga and massage studio. She was reinspired to learn massage and upon her return to San Diego and began school for Massage Therapy at IPSB, International Professional School of Bodywork, from where she is now a licensed Massage Practitioner. She hopes to continue to take classes until she has achieved a Holistic Healthcare Practitioner. Bodywork is a true passion for her and feels like it is something she has been called to do for many years. It is now coming to fruition and she is incredibly excited to be going on this healing journey.
